About the role of Head of Content at Tapp Network

Responsibilities
- Write compelling and persuasive campaign copy, including headlines, taglines, body copy, and scripts; Tailor messaging to suit various advertising channels, adapting it to fit the medium and engage the intended audience effectively (per messaging guidelines); Revise and refine copy based on feedback from stakeholders, clients, and team members
- Omni-channel copywriting and creative expertise
- Highly creative and can craft content for full-funnel/flywheel campaigns

- Develop and spearhead the strategy for brand messaging
- Proficient in AI automation tools for publishing and personalization, such as HubSpot
- Comprehension of behavioral science and art of storytelling (Story-Brand Certification a plus)
- Proficient in content tools such as Hubspot, Canva, Jasper, etc
- Build customer and stakeholder relationships to help understand perspectives, behaviors, and goals for our customers and business
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and craft unique and cohesive campaign concepts that align seamlessly with visual elements and adhere to brand guidelines
- Own the content calendar, ensuring a consistent and strategic flow of content. Work closely with our site operations team to coordinate and complement ad content with Petco placements
- Continuously assess and iterate on content standards to stay current with industry trends, accessibility standards, and emerging technologies
- Create and edit copy for marketing materials that is accurate, well-researched, and aligned with our client’s brands
- Implement measurement strategies to track the impact and success of content strategies
- Become a subject matter expert in assigned areas so that you can write product copy that aligns with our users' goals
- Research industry trends, target audience, and competitors to inform product messaging
- Advocate and evangelize content strategy and best practices across client touchpoints
- Project management skills and adept with tracking time, tasks, etc via platforms, such as Airtable, Click-Up.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in copywriting, content marketing or a related role
- 7+ years of agency experience
- 5+ years of experience strategically placing digital ads
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and creativity
- Creative thinking and the ability to develop content (emails, blogs, social, ads, etc.) that tells a compelling story
- Proficiency in content management systems, social media platforms, and other content marketing tools and software
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Effective time management and ability to deliver high-quality copy on schedule
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Compensation
$70,000-$100,000 - commensurate with experience.
